NRL Tips Summary, 2004

The performance of MAIT on the NRL this year was down a little on previous seasons. As always, the State of Origin series made tipping a bit difficult (due to the amount of missing players), but results were still inconsistent at other times. Having said that, most tipsters (even the professionals) were down this year on previous years. One example of the difficulty in guaging team form came in the latter part of the season, where Manly allowed 72 points one week, then backed up to post 48 and 50 points in the following two weeks.

All things considered however, the result wasn't too bad though. With improvements late in the season the final result was 65.1% accuracy (123 correct tips, plus two draws, out of 189 games). This was still enough to beat 98% of the NRL tipsters in Australia.
