It was an interesting season again in the AFL, with the expansion teams still trying to find their feet, but still causing the occasional upset. MAIT rebounded from a woeful start (seven incorrect tips during week one), turning it around very quickly and only getting seven wrong over the next five weeks combined!
Finishing the season with a handy run of five straight, the final result was 145 correct tips (plus one draw) out of 206 games, at a very impressive accuracy of 70.4%. I think that's the best result MAIT has ever returned in the AFL, and included a streak of 16 correct on the "recommended" tips.
