After a bit of a lackluster performance in 2004, MAIT was back with a vengeance in 2005 recording it's best ever result for a league competition. At the end of the Super 12 season MAIT has correctly picked 52 winners (plus three draws) from the 69 games, resulting in an accuracy of 75.4%. In classic artificial intelligence style, results got better as the season went on, corresponding to the system "learning" more about each team.
